Fujitsu® LifeBook S6421 Overheating
Tips to Resolve Fujitsu LifeBook S6421 Overheating.
The Fujitsu LifeBook S6421 is a system with many multimedia features. This is preinstalled with the Windows vista Operating System and Intel Core processor. The Intel Core processor delivers peak performance with the system features. The memory capacity of the system is the 2GB and the hard drive capacity is 250GB. This system is integrated with the Intel Graphics Media accelerator and this provides the maximum performance by using less power. As in all other laptops, if you use the system for a long time, then you could see that the system starts to overheat; and sometimes this would result in the sudden shut down of the system. The reason for the overheating might be the non working fans, or the overworking of the processor. The high temperature in the environment would also result the overheating issue.
Following are some of the solutions to fix the overheating issue in the Fujitsu LifeBook S6421 system:
- Correct the power settings
- Elevate the system
- Correct the software
Correct the power settings
You could adjust the power settings of the heat generating components such as screens and hard drives. The hard drive and the screens are the main reason for the overheating in the system. So by adjusting the power settings in them, you could resolve the overheating issue. This would avoid needless heat generation and build up.
Elevate the system
Elevation of the system means the changing of position. You have to check the position of the system also to avoid the overheating. If the system is placed over any of the cloth surfaces, then you need to change the position of the system. Hard surfaces are always better to place the system. If the room temperature is high and that cause the overheating, then you need to decrease the temperature of the room.
The software which controls the cooling fan in the system might be the reason for the overheating in the system. If that software corruption is the reason for overheating, then you could fix it by repairing the software. You could make use of the scanning software, or any other method to fix the issues in that software. If any of such ways could not remove the issues from the system then you need to uninstall that software and select any good software.
