AMILO Pi 3660 is a high definition notebook from Fujitsu. High definition gaming application could be executed with the built in NVIDIA PhysX. It also uses a discrete NVIDIA GeForce graphics card with a dedicated 1 GB graphics memory. It uses Intel Core 2 Duo processor, memory upgraded up to 8 GB, 320 GB hard disc for secondary storage etc. The keyboard is having a spill-proof protection which can help you in saving it from damages. There is an integrated web camera and microphone which can allow you to connect in face-face contact without any additional settings. There is connection options such as Wireless LAN, Bluetooth, and Gigabit Ethernet LAN etc integrated to the system. Blu-ray disc drive is an optional feature with the model. Instant access to music, pictures, video etc in 5 different memory cards could be accessed with the 5-in-1 flash card reader. Windows 7 Home Premium Windows Vista Home Premium is the default Operating System. There are HDMI and VGA ports available in this model. You might connect your external monitor using either of these ports. While connecting the monitor, it should be made sure that the connection is done with the correct port and a suitable cable is selected for the connection.

Connect cable to monitor
You need to connect a cable to the VGA or HDMI port in your Fujitsu Amilo Pi 3660 notebook and connect the other end to the monitor. Turn on the monitor and it can be recognized as a new hard ware. If not, restart the computer to get it detected. Once it is identified, display can be available on both screens. You might toggle the view with the use of function key combination such as ‘Fn’+ ‘F5’, ‘Fn’+ ‘F3’ etc. If you are unable to change the view the by using function keys, contact Fujitsu to know the key combinations.
Set default display
You can disable the auto switching and set one default display. If so the display is be available only on one screen, either on the notebook or external monitor. In order to set the default display, you need to make changes in the CMOS set up. Restart the computer and enter the CMOS set up to set the default display.
You may be able to make changes to the resolution, only if the Operating System detects the external monitor. Check in the ‘Device Manager’ to find whether the display device is detected by Device Manager. After identifying the monitor you can make resolution changes in the display settings.
