Wireless Problems in Fujitsu® AMILO Pi 3560
Fujitsu AMILO Pi 3560 is an outstanding laptop with high performance. It comes with Intel Core 2Duo P7450 processor. It supports 64 bit Windows 7 Operating system. Wireless networks can be set up in any laptop. It allows people to use Internet on laptops anywhere. Fujitsu AMILO Pi 3560 comes with a built-in Wireless Network Card which provides Internet connection without any cables or wires. Different types of wireless networks are available based on the coverage areas like personal area network, local area network, wide area network etc. Some problems regarding the wireless connectivity do arise at times, but most of these can be resolved easily.
- Security issues
- Less signal strength
- Driver compatibility
The bandwidth available for wireless connections is limited. This allows hackers to get connected to your network easily. Some users access wireless connections without enabling any password protection for their network. This also allows unauthorized users to access your network. Enabling password could solve this problem. But hackers could easily hack your password and they also have so many tools to crack the security provided to your network. They could access your private information. Assigning a MAC address for your network blocks other computers not matching this address from connecting to your network. Even though many security measures are there, wireless networks are not fully secured.
Less signal strength
Signal strength of wireless networks might reduce if the distance between the wireless router and your laptop is too high. You could check the signal strength by placing the mouse on the wireless connection icon. To solve this, place your laptop nearer to the router to get highest signal strength. The signal strength could also decrease due to the interference of wireless phone with wireless router. This problem could be solved by turning on and off the router and also by upgrading your wireless phone to a higher frequency.
Wireless problems could arise due to the incompatibility of your network adapter driver. Check whether you have installed the proper driver for the network adapter. If the driver is not compatible, update the driver. It could be automatically updated or you could check for the proper driver from the documentation provided for the network adapter, download it from Internet and install it.
